Dr Timothy Li is currently an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. After obtaining his specialist qualification in Hong Kong, he pursued further training on antibiotic stewardship and antibiotic allergy testing at the University of California, Los Angeles and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, respectively. He is in charge of the antibiotic stewardship programme in the Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, the out-patient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) service in Prince of Wales Hospital and the penicillin allergy evaluation service in the New Territories East Cluster of Hospital Authority. His clinical interest is in optimal utilization of antibiotics, penicillin allergy and multi-drug resistant organisms.
